Praise
Bill has just finished the first draft of The Pentateuch one of the textbooks designed for Africa diploma level students that is a part of the Discovery Series curriculum. Now comes the tedious job of editing and revisions and all the other little details that need to go into creating a resource like this.
Scott, our oldest son, has finished basic training and airborne training in the Army. After being told he would be deployed to Italy and then to Afghanistan, he instead has been sent to Ft. Campbell, KY. He will be taking air assault training this month, and is also the driver for one of the commanders there.
Africa's Hope recently presented the need for getting training materials from our warehouse in Springfield, MO to a number of points of need across Africa. Thank God for some generous pastors. Through their commitments we will be able to send several containers of critically needed training materials to Africa.
Prayer
Our ministry finances continue to be a challenge. Please pray that additional funding will become available to do the work God has called us to do.
Continue to keep our oldest son, Scott, in your prayers as he serves his country in the Army.
Pray for a meeting to be held at Africa's Hope the last week of July regarding world-wide Pentecostal training issues. We will have leadership from four Pentecostal denominations coming together to discuss how we can partner with our training programs to make them the most effective they can possibly be.
Our entire family (minus Scott) will be traveling to General Council. Pray that this council will be especially blessed and a powerful presence of the Lord will be manifest.
Bill is itinerating in California and Michigan in August and September respectively. Pray for traveling safety and that he will be a blessing to the churches he visits.
